R22
refrigerant is used considerably within any air conditioning system.
R22 refrigerant has been used for many years, however it contributes
to the depletion of the ozone layer. This has caused the government
to put restrictions in place to phase out its use as more efficient
and less damaging refrigerants have been introduced.

F Gas Regulations
F Gases
(or Fluorinated Gases) contribute to global warming; now legislations have been
put in place to ban the use of these gases in your refrigeration systems. This
move was made by the government to reduce emissions of these gases into the
atmosphere. This means, that as air conditioning maintenance and installation
company; we are required to follow these main points in the new law:
·
Regular leakage checks and prevention
·
Refrigerant records
·
Equipment labelling
